Artist Statement

The variety and breadth of my drawings illustrate the way I observe the world
around me and the excitement with which I record it on paper.
I experience a sensual relationship with paper as my quick hand glides graphite,
charcoal, colored and china marking pencil or bamboo pen onto a surface.
My marks are representations of our society from a dialogue within.
